About us
At Rainbow Region Dementia Doula, we believe no one should face dementia or end-of-life alone. We are here to offer a calm, supportive presence for individuals, families, and carers across the Northern Rivers region. Our purpose is simple: to walk beside you with clarity and compassion, offering guidance and comfort during the most challenging times.
Our mission
To provide gentle, personalised support through every stage of dementia and end-of-life care, honouring each person’s story so that no one feels unheard or alone.
Our vision
We envision a community where every person living with dementia or nearing end-of-life is met with clear guidance, dignity, and heartfelt care - ensuring that they feel respected and supported every step of the way.
Our values - RAINBOW
We live by the acronym RAINBOW, which guides every part of the work we do:
Respect — We honour each life story and choice, recognising the individuality of every person.
Authenticity — We communicate honestly and show up as our true selves, without pretense.
Integrity — We act ethically, keeping our promises and doing what’s right for every person in our care.
Nurture — We care deeply for emotional, spiritual, and practical needs, supporting families through every stage.
Belonging — We create a safe, connected space where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Openness — We approach every stage with curiosity and compassion, staying open to learning and growth.
Wisdom — We guide with experience, knowledge, and understanding, drawing on our years of care and expertise.
